‘Join Dreamtime Arts and enjoy making arts and crafts for your home, your child or yourself’

‘Dreamtime Arts’ is an art class with a crèche for mothers with children 0-5years. It is a chance for mothers to have some time-out and do something just for themselves in the company of other mothers.

Working with the arts can relieve stress, feelings of isolation and other difficult emotions. It can create a sense of relaxation and build self-esteem.

The referral process/Getting Referred

Women can self-refer to Dreamtime Arts by contacting the children’s centre closest to them. Referrals can also be by health visitors or health professionals by contacting the children’s centre closest to their patient.

No previous arts experience is necessary.

Sessions are FREE and all art materials are supplied. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own equipment and materials if you prefer.

Dreamtime Arts groups are informal and fun creative art sessions. An experienced artist gently introduces a range of ideas and techniques to help participants explore their own creativity and learn new skills at their own pace. No previous experience is necessary.

Dreamtime Arts  groups offer a relaxed supportive atmosphere where everyone feels excepted for who they are. They provide a safe space in your week to enjoy ‘me time’ with no pressures. The lead artist will guide you through each activity and help you find the confidence to develop your own creative process. And you’re always welcome to just sit, enjoy the company and a cup of tea!
